This image of Lenin refers to an event at the "First All-Russian Congress of Soviets in June, 1917. The Menshevik [Irakli] Tsereteli had declared there was no political party in Russia that would express its readiness to take the entire power upon itself. [Vladimir Lenin (1870-1924)] rose from his seat and exclaimed: "There Is such a Party...Our Party [Bolsheviks] does not refuse it: it is prepared at any minute to take over the entire power."
