This design is adapted from a 1953 Ralph Malcolm Warner poster showing Nola Rose, a winner of a Bondi Beach beauty contest, who was the face of TAA for over 25 years. She is shown here wearing the slightly adapted uniform of 1964, with a Boeing 727 jet behind her. Ref: TAA museum, MAAS.
